Jay Illy – “The Shogun”

25 Mar

Jay Illestrate – “The Shogun” (prod. by Harlequin of Hate)

Enter the newest Regular Cat chamber from Jay Illestrate, and take a sneak peak at the newest album in the works titled The Shogun Flow. Also new to the mix is the producer Harlequin of Hate, who will especially be contributing to this project, alongside Jopedo, Whiskaz, and of course… the one and only hip-hop Kung Fu Master… Jay Illestrate!

Noteworthy: X*Cell & Jay Illestrate are currently on their collaborative game, as X lays some bars upon the foundation that is Jay Illy’s The Shogun Flow, as well as his future work, Art of Facts Vol. 4. On the flip, Jay Illy contributed to X*Cell’s upcoming Amerika Akbar project on the song “The Hurt“.

Creative Business – Half-Hour Special [2010]

19 Nov

Turn on your tubes and take a glimpse into what The Creative Business is cooking up. Some singles, past, present, and future… freestyles… grandiose production… and my favorite segment: “Label Cable”, which features colleagues of The Bizz emceeing their own singles. Enjoy CB’s Half-Hour Special that spans an exact 30:00… like yer favorite TV Show!

Mad Mario – “Graffiti-style”

17 Nov

RLC, X*Cell, and J Kush let their creative juices flow over the microphone on one of Fort Dub’s very own… Mad Mario. Over at Mario’s studio, the trio went to work on a one-tracker to spark the growth of their rap territory and there was too much drank, stank, and rhymes point-blank for you to miss out on this ish!

“Eyes So Low”

11 Nov

Tha Cuddy Lo is on the verge of releasing his first studio-mixtape Tact Out Vol. 1. The Stockton, CA native grew up with a head for hip-hop music, grooming himself to listen to the transcending artist whom may have been miles away from mainstream success, but closest to pure thought and in touch with his/her’s creative juices. *Tact Out* is a mixtape that brings some of Cuddy’s most beloved underground songs growing up to the forefront, where he re-wrecks them, often-times along with fellow rappers/producers within the xcellmusic.com catalogue.

In “Eyes So Low”, Cuddy puffs twice and passes the blunt over to X*Cell and Wrex Washington for another intangible anthem about weed, that is anything BUT eye-opening ;)

If you haven’t already… check out Tha Cuddy Lo’s other single “Valley Playa“.

The Bizz & Cuddy Lo – “Motivated” [When We Were Young 2]

19 Oct

xcellmusic.com & hot16radio.com are teaming up yet again to bring a 2nd rendition of the When We Were Young series, with this one focusing specifically on the WU-TANG CLAN! Classic Ghostface, RZA, Method Man, ODB, and so many more possibilities are slated to grace this LP, along with original production sampling The Wu, and a legendary mix by the proficient DJ Black Wizard of Baltimore, MD.

The song “Motivation” features Creative Business members RLC and X*Cell along with Tha Cuddy Lo getting motivated over an original from Raekwon. This is just one of many benchmarks we’ve set throughout the album to capture that true-Wu essence, but we have a few spots open for fan suggestion. What Wu-Tang classics would you like to hear re-done?

X*Cell – “Seminar” [Amerika Akbar Intro]

19 Sep

X*Cell – “Seminar” (prod. by 4D)

Amerika Akbar is set to be the newest solo mission for Creative Business mad-doctor X*Cell. His proclamation is geared to DESTROY the unjustifiable negativity that the USA has been labeled with by outsiders looking in, as well as from its own populous. The LP also shows that any race, religion, belief, or other human classification can co-exist and thrive in the GREATEST country on Earth! Don’t let the fools tell you otherwise.

And this is the intro… the first chronicle to being touted a nuisance, but prevailing it with GREATNESS in the USA. A favorable example of this is Mr. Mike Tyson, and of course the true child-eater… X*Cell. Check out his Seminar!

X*Cell – “For You”

12 Sep

X*Cell – “For You” (prod. by X*Cell)

This is for you. From me. With care.
