I have this magnetic attraction to places that inspire creativity and evoke memories of my past. My imagination has been captivated by Oatman, Arizona. This small, historic mining town along Route 66 offers a window into a wild and nostalgic world.

Oatman is a town with a long history that dates back to the early 1900s gold rush. Olive Oatman, a young woman who was captured by the Mohave Indians in 1851, inspired the town's name. During the gold rush, the town was a hub of activity, and it is now a window into their world. It's a place that's full of memories because the gold rush attracted thousands of prospectors looking to make their fortunes there.

There's one place that has captivated my imagination like no other: Joshua Tree, California. For many years, this otherworldly desert landscape served as a source of inspiration for me, and I always make sure to stop by when I'm nearby.

Joshua Tree National Park, which is situated in the Mojave Desert, is where you can find the well-known Joshua tree, a localized species of yucca plant. A landscape unlike any other on earth is made up of these trees and the otherworldly rock formations. The Joshua trees' twisted and gnarled shapes contrast with the park's enormous granite boulders to create an unearthly atmosphere that is difficult to put into words as I stroll through it.
